#TeamHaringey6 Business Students Personal Finance Exam Prep!

This week our #TeamHaringey6 Level 3 BTEC National Business Year 1 (Diploma & Extended Diploma) students attended a day workshop about financial awareness & managing personal finance as it covers a range of topics that students are learning in Unit 3 Personal and Business Finance. 

The workshop was delivered by a team from Distinctive Solutions who have delivered similar workshops in the College to students from other subject areas.

The workshop has been planned and tailored to meet the needs of learners on the Level 3 BTEC Business Year 1 course and will provide an opportunity to solidify their core knowledge of key concepts and terminology needed to achieve high grades in the January examination.

The facilitators have planned to use a variety of interactive tools, games, videos and quizzes to help engage learners. Case studies will also be used throughout the session to help students see the real impact of decisions taken by individuals when it comes to personal finance.

One other objective of the workshop is to help drive positive mindsets and aspirations for our learners.
