#TeamHaringey6 - Happy New Year 2025!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

A round up of the last year week of term for #TeamHaringey6 and what an amazing year it has been and what an amazing week we have had to end the term on.

We had science club and we are now at week 4!

We had group 3 of the Learning for life students for science club this week. The Year 12s A level Biologists helped out this week (Onyekachi, Vownia, AJ, Edzhe and Humeyra) and a big thank you to Oliver, Hattie, Christine and Kaz for their support.

Have a look at the photos...This week we welcomed Discovery 3 Learning for Life learners to do Volcano and Egg parachutes. A big thank you to Oliver, Lara, Edith, Shade, Shelly and Grace for their support. Also, not to forget our lovely A level Biologists (Mustafa, Alia, Sihaam, Naima, Alaa and Huda).

Our Level 3 Uniformed Protective Services Students went to the Serial Killer Exhibition at the end of term. Through the experience students were able to delve into the mysteries behind the most notorious criminals in history, gain an insight into how investigative techniques have evolved and look at original artefacts, as well as exploring reconstructed crime scenes.

The students also enjoyed taking lots of pictures in the Leake Street graffiti tunnel, founded by Banksy.

#TeamHaringey6 also had a Staff excellence award ceremony and it was a heartfelt and special one as it was dedicated to our beloved staff member Teddie who recently passed away after a short illness - the awards were dedicated to her and it was even more special as we invited her family along to share this night with.

It was also amazing to see some of our Level 3 Professional cookery students dishing out the food and serving the best is yet to come with our students as they showed how #Professional and #Amazing they are.

As you can see our staff and trustees looked amazing and were in high spirits given the year we have all had roll on 2025!

Hope you all had an amazing Christmas and Holiday Break as we all deserved that time out to reflect and re-charge and be ready for the next term full of life, energy and ready to embark on new challenges as we are #TeamHaringey6 and as always we are #MoreThanACollege
