#TeamHaringey6 have had some amazing things on this week

To start we were invited to Parkview school where our CEO presented at an assembly for their year 11's 

Our Level 3 #Applied science student Karen recently participated in the Southern Region championship in wrestling – he gained a silver medal for his club @london_wrestling_academy and for that we are very #H6Proud of him

#TeamHaringey6 held a Futures and Careers fair as we want to ensure that our students are exposed to as many opportunities and choices as possible and we couldn't do it without the support and efforts of our local partners - which were Turing Scheme, Reed Partnership and Creative Industries Club #H6Experience

In an inspiring display of collaboration, Media students have teamed up with the Science Department to bring their creative projects to life. This unique partnership allows Media students to use the Science labs as recording and production spaces, blending creativity and innovation.

The initiative began when Media students expressed the need for advanced technical spaces to record their projects. Recognising the potential for cross-disciplinary learning, the Science team stepped in to provide access to their laboratories, which are equipped with cutting-edge equipment.

Collaboration like this bridges the gap between creativity and technical expertise. The students are learning to see science not just as a discipline, but as a source of inspiration for storytelling and media production.

With plans to expand the partnership next term, both teams are excited about the possibilities for future collaborations. It’s proof that when creativity meets science, the results can be amazing.
