Today #TeamHaringey6 students had the pleasure of greeting nine employees from Auto Trader who volunteered to help with the initial phases of our creating a Sensory Garden.

#H6 aim for the Sensory Garden is to create an engaging and inclusive outdoor space that stimulates the senses and promotes learning and well-being, whilst further enhancing the new curriculum. The proposed sensory garden will cater to a wide range of sensory experiences, including touch, smell, and auditory stimuli, while also offering opportunities for hands-on learning and relaxation. The garden will be designed to be wheelchair accessible, ensuring that all students can enjoy and benefit from this enriching environment.

Auto Trader have generously spent £500 on gardening equipment as well as to assist us in the creativity of it. #ThankYou

The Auto Trader volunteers were split into teams and worked in collaboration with some of our #H6 Entry and Foundation students during the day, to help support the development of the sensory garden.
