#TeamHaringey6 student Daniel meets Under Armour!

#TeamHaringey6 student Daniel recently took part in an all expenses paid trip to Amsterdam with the brand Under Armour with the hopes of getting a years sponsorship with the brand.

Daniel is currently in his final year of studying A-Levels in Maths, Physics and Business as well as playing on the college basketball team where he takes part in daily team sessions and strength and conditioning session.

In Daniel's own words about his journey he says:

It all began in Battersea, where I had to compete and score well in a series of tests that would contribute to my overall score, which would be ranked out of everyone that competed in that test in London, only showing the top 100 athletes. UA Next was an opportunity for one to showcase one's athletic ability, aged 16 to 20.

 

First and foremost, I'm incredibly happy of what I've accomplished - not only am I the top athlete out of 900, but I also received recognition and other chances from UA Next. While I'm not sad that I didn't make it through stage 2, I am quite enthusiastic about what I can do better so that I may dominate the next season by identifying my areas of weakness and building on my strengths.'
