#TeamHaringey6 - What we get up to! - Summer Term 23

This week #TeamHaringey6 hosted a London FA Referee course this week to help students gain skills and qualifications to help them gain employment as Referees for the coming season.

London FA Tutor Jamaal Horne led the course with Day 1 helping the learners understands the Laws of the game. 

All 20 learners successfully passed the course, and are now able to referee games. All of the students have been offered work this coming weekend, in various games including at Arsenal academy. Congratulations to each of them. 

Haringey 6th Form College football captain Clerys Luka said 'The course was excellent. It was a chance to learn more about the rules of the game, and to get some experience as a referee. The tutor Jamaal and Ali were great.

The course was organised by local sport for development club Estudiantes, who worked with London Youth, CVC capital Partners and Barnet Sunday League to put on the course.
