The Final Countdown, or Is It the Final Push?
I hope that you have all had a great half term break and are ready for the 'final push' to the end of the year. I know that everyone has worked so hard this year in all aspects of college life.
Many thanks to all of you who came into the college for revision for the on-going examinations and those who have been working on assignments. Nearly there!
Clearly, the focus this term is very much on the classroom: revising on your own alongside attending lessons and any support sessions that are organised by departments. I have often said that the closer you get to the finish line the harder you run. It’s the only way to get the best possible time. Races are often won on the final lap and it is never too late for the last minute push to success.
On a daily basis, I witness members of our college community, who are positive and hard-working, only wanting our students to be successful in everything that they do. It is an honour to be Principal of Haringey Sixth Form College. This is what so many visitors say to me when they come to our college, and it’s the main reason why I believe that our college is so special.
