#TeamHaringey6 students visits Staffordshire University

#TeamHaringey6 Level 3 Year 1 ICT students visited Staffordshire University, London Campus. The campus is a specialist IT and Computer Science site which offers a variety of IT related degrees, including Computer Science, Cyber Security and Computer Games Design.
Our students had a tour of the campus and participated in workshops led by lecturers and industry professionals based at the campus. They also had the opportunity to discuss student life with current University undergraduate students, one of which was a H6 alumni! Our learners commented on how much fun the day was whilst being surprised and encouraged by the opportunities that exist within tech in Higher Education.
The emerging world of Esports is one of the fast-growing global industries. H6 is planning to deliver an exciting new vocational course in Esports at Level 3 for the 2024/25 academic year. We will continue to develop a strategic partnership with Staffordshire University London to ensure our future leaners receive HE and industry insight on H6 courses whilst developing clear pathways of progression into higher education, competitive gaming and the world of work.
